# Profile

> Update your name, profile picture, phone number, scheduling link, and default book.

Your profile stores the personal information that identifies you across Slant. Other team members see your name and photo on tasks, comments, and meetings.

To edit your profile, go to **Settings** → **Profile**.

## Profile picture

Upload a photo so team members can identify you at a glance. Slant supports PNG and JPEG files under 10 MB.

To remove your photo, click the <Icon icon="x" /> button on the image. Slant displays your initials when no photo is set.

## Name

Enter your **First name** and **Last name**. These appear everywhere your name is shown — task assignments, comments, meeting attendees, and more. Changes save automatically when you leave the field.

## Email address

Your email address is read-only and managed through your login provider. It cannot be changed from this page.

## Phone number

Enter your phone number in the **Phone number** field. Slant formats it automatically.

## Scheduling link

Paste your personal scheduling URL (e.g., a Calendly link) into the **Scheduling link** field. This link is used in email templates and AI-generated content so clients can book time with you.

## Default book

If you have access to more than one [book](/help/glossary), a **Default book** selector appears below the scheduling link. Choose which book loads when you log in:

* **All books** — land on the all-books view
* **A specific book** — land directly in that book's workspace

This setting only appears when you have access to multiple books.

    Your scheduling link is not directly visible to other users. It is used in email templates and AI-generated content when Slant creates messages on your behalf.
