# meeting.created

> Sent when a meeting is created

Sent when a meeting is created. Initial notes and links do not also emit `meeting.updated`. The snapshot is prepared asynchronously and may reflect changes made after the triggering event. Use its `updated_at` to reconcile local state. Fetch the current meeting with `GET /v1/meetings/{id}`.
