# Household opportunities

> View and create opportunities linked to a household from the Records tab.

The **Opportunities** section on the **Records** tab shows all [opportunities](/activity/opportunities/overview) linked to this household. Each opportunity card displays the name, pipeline stage, value, probability, and any labels.

## View opportunities

Each opportunity card shows:

* **Name** — the opportunity title
* **Stage** — the current pipeline stage
* **Value** — the deal value in dollars
* **Probability** — the estimated likelihood of closing
* **Label** — the first tag applied to the opportunity

Click an opportunity card or the <Icon icon="external-link" /> icon to view it on the opportunities page.

## Add an opportunity

Click **Add opportunity** at the bottom of the section. The opportunity creation form opens with the household pre-filled as the **Related record**.

<Note>
  You need at least one [pipeline](/activity/opportunities/pipelines-and-stages) configured before you can add opportunities.
</Note>

<Note>
  The same **Opportunities** section appears on the **Records** tab of [other contacts](/records/other-contacts) and [businesses](/records/businesses), and as an **Opportunities** widget on their overview tabs. Each links the record as the opportunity's related record.
</Note>

For full details on managing opportunities, see [Opportunities](/activity/opportunities/overview).
