Information about the Wealthbox integration
Connecting your CRM (like Wealthbox) to our platform is a great way to keep all your client information in one place! This means you don’t have to manually enter data in multiple systems. We’ll automatically pull in your client and prospect records.
How the Wealthbox integration works
Slant securely connects to your Wealthbox account to import and update client and prospect data.
Connecting your Wealthbox account
During your first Slant login, you’ll be prompted to connect your Wealthbox account.
You will be prompted to provide an Access Token from Wealthbox. To find this token, follow these steps:
Log in to Wealthbox
Go to Settings -> API Access
Create an access token
Paste the access token into Slant
What data is synced?
We aim to bring in the most important information about your client and prospect records:
- Contact records: Client households and prospect records. If a client does not have an associated household record, one will be created for them.
- Contact Details: Email addresses and phone numbers for households and individuals.
- Tags: Any tags you’ve assigned to households or contacts in your CRM will also be synced, helping you keep your clients organized in Slant.
- Notes: Any notes you’ve added to households or contacts in your CRM will be synced and intelligently tagged for organization purposes.
- Tasks: Any incomplete tasks you’ve created in Wealthbox will be synced.
If you have a large number of clients or prospects, the initial sync may take a while.
Keeping your data up-to-date
Important: We only sync contact records that are assigned to the user who integrated their Wealthbox account. If you are missing data in Slant, we recommend ensuring that records in Wealthbox are assigned accurately.
Important details
- In Slant, a client is synonymous with a Wealthbox household. If your existing clients in Wealthbox do not have an associated household record, Slant will automatically create one for them.
- Tags in Slant map are derived from the tags associated with the head of household.
- Each book in Slant must set up a separate Wealthbox integration. We only sync clients assigned to the Wealthbox user.
