Setting up your email and calendar integration

During your first Slant login, you’ll be prompted to connect your email and calendar, but if you missed it, you can connect your email and calendar at any time using the following steps:

Navigate to Account settings > Email and calendar.

Find the Google or Microsoft Outlook section, depending on which provider you want to connect.

Click the Connect button.

Once redirected to the email provider's authentication page, sign in with your email account and grant the necessary permissions.

After successful authentication, you'll be redirected back to Slant.

Features

After integrating your email, your primary calendar is automatically synced with Slant. You can view your calendar events directly within Slant, and new events are synced and added to your calendar in real-time. Calendar events include:
  • Meeting titles and descriptions
  • Start and end times
  • Participant information

Slant takes your data security seriously:
  • All calendar data is encrypted.
  • Connections use secure OAuth2 authentication.
  • You can revoke access at any time.
