Once you’ve created a project, keep work moving by completing tasks, moving through milestones, and tracking progress. Projects can be viewed from the contact’s page under Records, or from the Projects page.
After a project is created, tasks from the first milestone are automatically created for the contact. Tasks within a project can be completed just like regular tasks:
1
Open the project details page.
2
Find the task you want to complete.
3
Click the checkbox next to the task title.
4
The task will be marked as complete and progress will update.
You can also complete tasks from the Tasks page, or from the Tasks tab on a contact’s page.
To move to the next milestone, click the Start milestone button on the next milestone. The related tasks for that milestone will be generated automatically. You can start multiple milestones at once to generate all tasks in the project.
As you’re completing tasks and milestones, leave comments using the Comment button to document important decisions and tag team members.
You can view all projects of a certain project type by clicking on the project template type from the Projects page. Once you’re on this Kanban board, you can move projects between milestones, track project progress, and complete or delete a project.
You can track project progress at two levels: milestone progress and overall progress.
When you’ve finished all the work for a project, you can mark it as complete by clicking the 3 dot menu (⋯) on the project card and selecting Complete project. From here, you can choose to automatically mark all remaining tasks as complete.
If you need to remove a project entirely, click the 3 dot menu (⋯) on the project card and select Destroy project. You can also choose todelete all associated tasks that may have already been created.
