There are two ways to complete a task in Slant:

  1. Quick completion: Click the circle checkbox next to any task in a task list. This can be done from both your tasks list or on an individual contact record.
  2. Edit completion: While editing the task, click the circle checkbox at the top of the panel next to the task title.

With either method, you’ll see a success message confirming the completion.

After a task is completed, the completion timestamp is recorded, the completing user is logged, task lists are immediately updated, and relevant team members are notified.

Uncompleting tasks

If you need to mark a completed task as incomplete:

  1. Find the task in the completed tasks section.
  2. Unclick the checkmark.
  3. The task will return to the “to do” status, and the completion timestamp will be cleared.

Viewing completed tasks

To view your completed tasks, click Filter, then set the conditions to “Status is Done.” You’ll also be able to view any completed tasks associated with a person on the contact record under the Tasks tab.
