User settings control your personal preferences, notification delivery, and team membership in Slant. Every user can configure their own profile and notifications. Admins can also manage team members, invitations, and teams. To open settings, click your company name at the bottom of the sidebar and select Settings.

Profile

Your profile stores the personal information that identifies you across Slant — your name, photo, phone number, and scheduling link. If you have access to multiple books, you can also set which book loads by default when you log in.

Notifications

Notification preferences control which events send you email and how often those emails arrive. You can toggle daily digest emails, meeting prep emails, and fine-tune which notification types generate individual emails.

Users and teams

The users and teams page lets admins invite new team members, manage book access, toggle admin roles, and organize users into teams for task assignment.

API tokens

The API tokens page lets you create personal access tokens for the Slant API so external tools can read your data on your behalf.

FAQ

Book-specific settings (name, timezone, tiers) are under SettingsBook profile. Company-wide settings are under SettingsCompany profile (admin only). This section covers personal user settings only.
No. There is no bulk reset option. Each setting must be changed individually.
