Access label and tag settings
Go to Settings → Data customizations, then select the category you want to manage:- Task labels
- Note labels
- Opportunity labels
- Household tags
- Business tags
Create a label or tag
Edit a label or tag
Click the name of an existing label or tag to edit it inline. For labels, click the color circle to change the color. Changes save automatically.Delete a label or tag
Click the icon on the row and confirm in the dialog. Deleting a label or tag removes it from all records it was applied to.Where labels and tags are used

Can I use the same label name for different record types?
Yes. Task labels, note labels, and opportunity labels are managed separately. You can have a “Follow-up” label in each category.
