Once a project is created, manage it through completion by tracking progress, completing tasks, advancing milestones, and collaborating with your team.
View projects
Projects page
The Projects page has two views:
- All projects tab — A scrollable list of all active projects. Click a project to preview its tasks and comments in a side panel
- Project type tabs — Each project type has its own tab showing a Kanban board. Projects appear as cards organized by current milestone
Filter and search
Both views support filtering and searching:
- Click the Filter button to add conditions (project type, assigned user, status)
- Use the search bar to find projects by name or household name
Show completed projects
By default, completed and cancelled projects are hidden. To show them:
- Click the settings gear icon on the Projects page
- Toggle Show completed projects on
View project details
Click a project to open its detail view. The detail view shows:
- Project name and assigned user at the top
- Linked household (if any)
- Project type label
- Description (editable rich text)
- Tasks grouped by milestone in an accordion layout
- Comments section for team collaboration
From a household record
You can also view a household’s projects from the client or prospect detail page under the projects section.
Work with tasks
Complete tasks
Tasks within a project work like regular tasks. Mark a task as complete by clicking its checkbox. The milestone progress percentage updates automatically.
Add tasks manually
Click Add task in the project’s task view to create an ad-hoc task. The task is linked to the project and the associated household.
Advance milestones
From the project detail view
- Find the future milestone in the task accordion
- Click Start milestone to advance the project to that phase
- Tasks for the new milestone are auto-created
From the Kanban board
Drag a project card between milestone columns on the Kanban board. The project moves to the target milestone and tasks are created.

Track progress
Milestone progress
Shows completion within the current milestone as a percentage of tasks completed.
Overall progress
Shows completion across all milestones that the project has visited. Increases as you complete tasks and advance through milestones.
Identify stalled projects
On the Kanban board, look for projects that have been in the same milestone for an extended period or have low progress percentages.
