Magic buttons are one of the fastest ways to take action in Slant. They live right inside the client record and allow you to trigger powerful AI agents like the meeting scheduler with a single click.

What are magic buttons?

Magic buttons are custom actions embedded in the client record that activate AI agents. They’re designed to help you move quickly from insight to action without switching tabs or typing commands.

Think of them as shortcuts that understand context.

For example, click “Schedule review” and the Meeting scheduler agent will analyze your past meeting history, client tier, and time since last touchpoint—and queue up the right outreach.

Where to find magic buttons

You’ll find magic buttons on the right side of the client record

They’re labeled clearly and appear based on what’s relevant to that specific client.

What can magic buttons trigger?

Magic buttons can trigger any AI agent you’ve enabled in your book. Some popular examples:

  • Meeting Scheduler: Queue up a review meeting, birthday outreach, or milestone follow-up.
  • Meeting follow-up: Summarize the last meeting and draft a follow-up email.
  • PDF Filler: Auto-fill onboarding forms using client data.
  • Proactive suggestions: Get a fresh list of to-dos based on upcoming deadlines, age milestones, or financial needs.

Why use magic buttons?

  • Speed: Skip the manual work - Slant handles it.
  • Context-aware: Buttons are smart. They know the client’s history, preferences, and timing.
  • Consistency: Ensure every client gets the right touchpoints at the right time.

How to create a magic button

1

Navigate to the client record.

2
