After starting a search, you see status updates as it progresses:- Pending — Starting the search
- Searching — Converting your query to LinkedIn search filters
- Processing — Analyzing search results
- Filtering — Refining results to find the best matches
- Completed — Search is done
Review results
Results display in a table with four columns:| Column | Shows |

Criteria match details
Hover over the criteria score to see a detailed breakdown. Each criterion shows:- Whether the profile matches (Yes, No, or Maybe)
- The reasoning behind the assessment
Import a prospect
To add a profile to Slant as a prospect:- Hover over the profile row
- Click Add as prospect
- Scouting enriches the profile with email and phone data
- A prospect record is created in your book
Recent scouting reports
Previous searches appear on the Scouting home page under Recent scouting reports. Click any report to view its results again.Tips for better results
- Start broad, then narrow. If results are not relevant, add more specific criteria.
- Use multiple searches. Different criteria combinations surface different prospects.
- Try the suggested searches. Example queries are shown when you have fewer than two reports.
