Reviewing Meeting Notes
Learn how to access and review past meeting recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries.
After a meeting ends, Slant automatically processes the recording to create a comprehensive set of post-meeting materials. The meeting recap includes a summary, transcript, video recording, and recommended tasks.
Accessing meeting recaps
You can access past meeting notes in two ways:-
From the Calendar page:
- Navigate to the past meeting event.
- Click the View meeting recap button.

From the Notetakers page:
- Scroll to the completed meetings in your list. You can also filter to show only completed meetings.
- Click the View meeting recap button
Meeting recap components
Summary
- An AI-generated overview of the key points discussed.
- Highlights important decisions and action items.
Full notes
- Detailed meeting notes organized by topic.
- Editable format so you can add your own annotations or additional notes.
Video recording
- Complete recording of the meeting.
- Playback controls to skip or rewind to specific moments.
Transcript
- Searchable text version of the entire conversation.
- Shows who said what with timestamps.
- Click on any line of the transcript to jump to that moment in the video.
Tasks
- Recommended list of follow-up items based on commitments made during the meeting.
- Can be rejected or accepted to be added directly to your task list.
Meeting chat
- Ask questions about what was discussed and find relevant information.
- Search for specific topics or moments and get clarification on action items.
