Export from Wealthbox

Export contacts

Log in to Wealthbox

Access your Wealthbox account.

Navigate to Contacts

Go to the Contacts section.

Select all

Use the checkbox to select all contacts, or filter to specific groups.

Export

Click Export and choose CSV format.

Include all fields

When prompted, select all available fields for export.

Export households

Navigate to Households

Go to the Households section in Wealthbox.

Export

Use the export function to download household data.

Export tasks

Navigate to Tasks

Go to the Tasks section.

Filter if needed

Optionally filter to specific date ranges or statuses.

Download the task export file.

Export notes

Access notes export

Wealthbox may require an admin or API export for notes.

Contact Wealthbox support if bulk note export isn’t available in UI.

Export opportunities

Go to the Opportunities or Pipeline section.

Download opportunity data including stages and values.

Once you have your export files:

We’ll provide a secure method to share your files.

Upload all your Wealthbox export files.

  • Slant’s equivalent custom fields (if similar)
  • New custom fields created in Slant

During import

Test import

Before the full migration:
  1. We import a sample of your data
  2. You review in Slant to verify accuracy
  3. We adjust mappings based on your feedback
  4. Full import proceeds once approved

What to check in test

  • Household names display correctly
  • People are in the right households
  • Contact information is complete
  • Tags imported as expected
  • Custom field data looks right

After import

Verify your data

Spot-check important records:

Check household counts

Compare total households in Slant vs Wealthbox.

Review key clients

Open your most important clients and verify data.

Check relationships

Verify spouses/partners are linked correctly.

Review tasks

Confirm open tasks imported with correct assignments.

Common post-import tasks

Set service tiers — Wealthbox segmentation may not map directly to Slant tiers. Review and assign A/B/C/D tiers. Configure review schedules — Set review cadence for clients based on tier and relationship. Merge duplicates — Some contacts may create duplicates if they existed in multiple Wealthbox households. Update relationships — Head of household and spouse designations may need review.

Connect integrations

After import, set up Slant integrations:
  • Connect your email account
  • Set up calendar sync
  • Link custodian accounts
These don’t transfer from Wealthbox—they connect directly to your accounts.

Tips for success

Export everything you need at once. Going back for additional exports adds time. Clean up before you migrate. Merged duplicates and updated records in Wealthbox mean cleaner data in Slant. Keep Wealthbox active briefly. Maintain read-only access during transition to reference if needed. Notify your team. Coordinate the transition so everyone knows when to start using Slant.
