The prospect record
A prospect record contains:- Household information — Name, members, contact details
- Activity feed — Emails, meetings, notes, tasks
- Opportunities — Linked deals in your pipeline
- Tags — Categories for organization
Update prospect information
Edit basic details

Open the prospect record
Click on the prospect in your prospect list.

Click edit
Click the edit icon or directly click on the field you want to change.

Make changes
Update the household name, contact info, or other details.

Save
Changes save automatically or click Save.
Add household members
Prospects can have multiple people, just like clients:1
Go to Household tab
In the prospect record, click Household.

Add member
Click Add member and select the role (Partner, Dependent, etc.).

Enter details
Fill in their name and contact information.
Track interactions
Log emails
Emails with prospects are automatically tracked when you’ve connected your email integration. You can also:- Send emails directly from the prospect record
- View email history in the activity feed
- Track opens and responses
Add notes

Open the prospect record
Navigate to the prospect’s detail page.

Add a note
Click Add note or press the keyboard shortcut.

Write your note
Document your conversation, insights, or next steps.

Save
The note appears in the activity feed.
Create tasks

Open the prospect record
Navigate to the prospect’s detail page.

Add a task
Click Add task or press Shift + T.

Set details
Enter the task title, due date, and assignee.

Save
The task is linked to this prospect.
Organize with tags
Tags help you categorize and filter prospects:Add tags

Open the prospect record
Navigate to the prospect’s detail page.

Find tags section
Look for the Tags area in the record.

Add a tag
Click Add tag and select from available tags.
Common prospect tags
- Lead source — Referral, Website, Event, Cold outreach
- Lead quality — Hot, Warm, Cold
- Industry — If relevant to your practice
- Timeline — Ready now, 6 months, 1 year+
Filter by tag

Open Prospects
Click Prospects in the sidebar.

Add filter
Click Filter → Tags.

Select tags
Choose one or more tags to filter by.
Work with opportunities
Link prospects to opportunities to track them through your sales pipeline:Create an opportunity

Open the prospect record
Navigate to the prospect’s detail page.

Add opportunity
Click Add opportunity.

Fill details
Enter the opportunity name, potential value, and expected close date.

Save
The opportunity is linked to this prospect.
View linked opportunities
From the prospect record, you can see all opportunities associated with this household and their current pipeline stage. Learn more about opportunitiesAssign prospects
Assign prospects to team members for clear ownership:1
Open the prospect record
Navigate to the prospect’s detail page.

Find assigned to
Look for the Assigned to field.

Select a user
Choose the team member responsible for this prospect.
Change prospect status
Prospects have a status that tracks their state:| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Currently being worked |
| Inactive | Paused, not currently pursuing |
| Archived | No longer a prospect, kept for records |

Find status
Look for the Status field.

Select new status
Choose Active, Inactive, or Archived.
Bulk actions
Perform actions on multiple prospects at once:1
Open Prospects
Click Prospects in the sidebar.

Select prospects
Check the boxes next to prospects you want to update.

Click Bulk actions
Choose from available actions:
- Add/remove tags
- Change assigned user
- Promote to client
- Archive
Enroll in sequences
Add prospects to email sequences for automated nurturing:1
Open the prospect record
Navigate to the prospect’s detail page.

Add to sequence
Click Add to sequence or find it in the actions menu.

Select a sequence
Choose the email sequence to enroll them in.

Confirm
They’ll start receiving sequence emails automatically.
