Connect Addepar
Open Settings → Reporting → Addepar and click Use API key. Enter the firm ID, subdomain, API key, and secret created in Addepar’s Firm Administration. Slant checks the credentials before saving them. The first import starts right after connecting. Slant imports every top-level owner in your firm (households, clients, trusts) as a reporting household, together with its accounts, values, allocation, and performance. Each report is an Addepar view. Slant starts you with Accounts: holding accounts by asset class with value, YTD return, contributions, withdrawals, income, fees, and custodian, plus an asset class pie. Slant refreshes the available view list from Addepar at the start of each nightly import. Click Refresh views if you need a newly created view immediately, then click Add view and select it. Slant reads the saved view’s columns, groupings, filters, and display settings directly from Addepar. Pick up to two pie charts from its groupings; pies need a Value column in the view. Slant runs every selected view for all of your top-level owners, so the view’s own portfolio is replaced. Views without an explicit date window use year to date. A report imports as soon as you save it and again nightly. Sync now reruns everything (once per hour).Link a client
Under Households, choose a Slant client in Linked household, or open a client’s Reporting tab and click Link reporting household. Slant links households automatically when custodian account numbers match, or when the Addepar name exactly matches one Slant client. Use Adjust link to change or remove a link; a manually unlinked household stays available and is not relinked automatically.View reporting data
The client’s Addepar tab shows each report: its pie charts, then its rows and columns as they appear in Addepar. Rows expand and collapse; the last row totals the household. Values reflect the previous business day’s snapshot. Links open the household or account in Addepar.Addepar reporting does not include target allocations or projected income; Addepar’s API does not expose them.
