Calendar sync brings your meetings into Slant automatically. See upcoming appointments, link meetings to clients, and track meeting history as part of client activity.

How calendar sync works

When enabled, Slant syncs events from your connected calendar:
  1. Events import — Calendar events sync to Slant
  2. Participant matching — Attendees are matched to household records by email
  3. Automatic linking — Meetings appear in linked household activity
  4. Ongoing sync — New and updated events sync continuously

What syncs

Event details

For each calendar event, Slant captures:
  • Title — Event name/subject
  • Date and time — Start, end, and timezone
  • Participants — All attendees and their RSVP status
  • Description — Event notes and agenda
  • Meeting links — Video call URLs (Zoom, Teams, Meet)
  • Location — Physical or virtual meeting location

Recurring events

Recurring meetings sync as individual occurrences. Each instance appears separately with its own date and time.

All-day events

All-day events (like holidays or reminders) sync but may be displayed differently than timed meetings.

View your calendar

Calendar view

Navigate to Calendar in the sidebar to see your synced events:
  • Day/Week/Month views — Different time perspectives
  • Color coding — Distinguish meeting types
  • Quick details — Click events to see participant info

On household records

Meetings with clients appear in their household activity:
  • Upcoming meetings show in the activity timeline
  • Past meetings become part of the activity history
  • Click to see full meeting details

Meeting linking

Automatic linking

Slant links meetings to households when:
  • A calendar participant’s email matches a person in your CRM
  • That person belongs to a household
No manual action required—the connection happens automatically.

Open the meeting

Click on the calendar event.
2

Find linking option

Meeting links display prominently so you can join calls with one click.
