What email sync provides

When you connect your email account, Slant:
  • Syncs email threads — Conversations with clients and prospects appear in their records
  • Logs sent emails — Messages you send are tracked automatically
  • Enables sending from Slant — Compose and send emails without switching apps
  • Links emails to records — Emails are associated with the right households based on email addresses

What calendar sync provides

When you enable calendar sync:
  • Meetings appear in Slant — See your schedule and upcoming client meetings
  • Automatic meeting tracking — Meetings link to households for activity history
  • Meeting prep context — View client information before meetings
  • Activity logging — Completed meetings become part of client activity

Email sync features

Automatic linking

Emails are linked to households based on participant email addresses. When a client emails you, the thread appears in their household record automatically.

Email tracking

See when recipients open emails you sent from Slant. Open tracking helps you understand engagement without relying on replies.

Email blacklisting

Exclude certain senders from syncing. Internal company emails, newsletters, and automated messages can be filtered out to keep your CRM focused on client communications.

Calendar sync features

Meeting detection

Slant identifies client and prospect meetings based on participant email addresses. Meetings are automatically linked to the appropriate household. Video call links (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet) are extracted from calendar events and displayed prominently for quick access.

Meeting types

Categorize meetings as client meetings, prospect meetings, annual reviews, or internal meetings to track how you spend your time.

Privacy and security
