You can archive a single client or archive multiple clients at once.Single client
From the client’s detail page, click the … menu and select Archive to past client.Bulk archive

Select clients on the clients list
Use the checkboxes to select the clients you want to archive.

Open the bulk actions menu
In the selection bar at the bottom, click … and select Archive to past client.

The past clients list
The past clients list shows all archived client households in your book. The default columns include the household name, email, phone, tags, dates (created, archived, was client since), and meeting activity. Past client-specific columns like Archived on and Was client since help you track when clients were archived and how long they were active. Use the Tags quick filter or click Filter for advanced filtering by name, contact info, location, meetings, touchpoints, and custom fields. Restoring a past client moves them back to the active clients list and reactivates client features like review scheduling and custodian account linking.Single restore

Select one or more past clients to reveal the selection bar at the bottom with these actions:- Restore to client — Move selected past clients back to the active clients list
- Add to project — Start a project for each selected past client
- Bulk email — Send a bulk email to all selected past clients (limit of 100 recipients)
- Add tag — Apply a tag to all selected past clients
- Delete — Permanently delete selected past clients and all their data
- Move to another book — Transfer to another book you can access (requires access to multiple books)

Does archiving a client delete any data?
No. Archiving preserves all household data. The client moves from the active clients list to the past clients list. You can restore them at any time.
Can I convert a past client to a prospect instead of a client?
Can I convert a past client to a prospect instead of a client?
Not directly. Restore the past client to active client status first, then convert them to a prospect from the client detail page.
Do past clients count toward my AUM?
Do past clients count toward my AUM?
No. Past clients do not have linked custodian accounts, so they are not included in AUM calculations.
Can I find past clients in global search?
Can I find past clients in global search?
Yes. Search a past client’s name, email, or phone number in global search (press ⌘K). Matching results are labeled Past client and open the past client’s record.
