Custom fields let you store additional information on a household beyond the standard fields. If your book has custom fields configured for households, they appear in the Custom fields section of the Records tab.

View and edit custom fields

Each field displays its name and current value. Click any field to edit it inline — changes save automatically. By default, the first four custom fields are visible. Click Show more to see the rest, or Show less to collapse them.
Custom fields are configured per household type (client or prospect) in your book’s settings under SettingsData customizationsCustom fields. If no custom fields are set up, this section won’t appear.

FAQ

Yes. Custom fields are configured separately for each household type. A field created for clients won’t appear on prospects, and vice versa.
Yes. Custom fields appear as filter options on the clients and prospects list pages.
Yes. On the clients or prospects list page, select multiple households, open the bulk actions menu, and choose Update custom field.
