Once you have other contacts in Slant, you can perform a wide range of actions to manage their information, communicate with them, and track their activities. This guide covers all the actions available on the other contacts page.

Quick actions

The contact header provides quick access to the most common actions. You can also use the chat to perform any of these actions.

Send email

Click the Send email button in the top-right corner of the prospect page.

Compose your email with subject, body, and recipients.

Click Send to deliver the email.

Emails sent through Slant are automatically tracked and stored in the contact’s email history.

Create task

Click the Add task button in the top-right corner.

Enter task details including title, description, due date, and assignee.

Click Create task to save.

Add note

Click the Add note button in the top-right corner.

Enter the note content.

Notes auto-save as you type and are retained for compliance.

Start project

Click the dropdown menu (three dots) in the top-right corner.

Select Start project from the menu.

Choose a project template and choose a project name.

Click Create project to begin.

Client classification and organization

Add tags

Tags help you categorize and filter contacts. You can add up to 5 tags to a contact. To add a tag, click on the tag selector in the contact header and select an existing tag or create a new one. Alternatively, you can also ask chat to add a tag to the contact.

Update prospect information

To update contact information, click on Details in the right sidebar. You can update the contact’s name, email, phone number, address, and other information.

Add comments

You can add comments to a contact record to track conversations and decisions. To add a comment, click on the Comments tab in the right sidebar and click the + Add comment button.
