Other contacts in Slant help you track professional relationships beyond clients and prospects. These are individuals like CPAs, attorneys, referral sources, and other centers of influence. In the sidebar, this section is labeled Other contacts and maps to the /contacts route.

Contact record tabs

Each other contact record has the following tabs:

Activity

A chronological feed of all interactions with the contact, including emails, meetings, tasks, notes, and comments.

Emails

View email correspondence history and send new emails directly from the contact record. Emails are automatically tracked when you have connected your email integration.

Meetings

View and manage meetings associated with this contact. Access meeting recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries if available.

Tasks

Create and assign tasks related to this contact. Track task progress, deadlines, and completion status.

Notes

Create detailed notes to keep track of important information, conversations, and decisions.

Phone

View call history for this contact. Available when a phone integration is connected.

Details (right panel)

View and edit the contact’s personal and professional information inline.

Comments (right panel)

Add internal comments on the contact record to communicate with your team. Comments are not visible to the contact.
