Skip to main contentAgents in Slant are automated workflows that help you streamline repetitive tasks and enhance your client interactions. Using AI, agents work in the background, scheduling meetings, drafting emails, prepping agendas, and more.
You can browse for pre-built agents in the marketplace, then customize them to fit your business needs. Some agents may run automatically based on a certain event, while others may be triggered manually by running a command in the chat.
How agents work
Agents have 3 main components:
1. Triggers
Agents are activated by triggers, or a specific event that triggers the agent to run. Some agents might be triggered by running the command in the contact chat, while others might occur automatically when a meeting finishes or
2. Goals
Goals are the actions that the agent will take. For example, an agent might have a goal to draft an email to a client, or to create a task for a meeting.
Agents will gather information about the client, meeting, or task, then use AI to analyze the data before performing the goal.
3. Prompts
Prompts are the instructions that the agent will follow to perform the goal. You can edit the prompt to give more specific instructions for your business processes. For example, if the goal is to draft an email, you can provide specific instructions for what types of information should be included in the email draft.
