Before you migrate
Prepare your data

- Archive or delete records you don’t need
- Verify important relationships are correct
Identify custom fields
List any custom fields you use:- What data do they store?
- Which fields are essential vs. nice-to-have?
- How should they map to Slant fields?
Document your workflows
Note how you use your current CRM:- How are clients categorized?
- What tags or labels do you rely on?
- How do you track pipeline stages?
What to expect
Timeline
Migration timelines vary:| CRM Data Volume | Typical Timeline |
|---|---|
| Under 500 households | 1-2 days |
| 500-2,000 households | 3-5 days |
