Prerequisites
Before connecting Dropbox:- Dropbox account (Basic, Plus, Professional, or Business)
- Slant account with integration permissions
- Decision on folder organization structure
Connect Dropbox

Go to integrations
Navigate to Settings → Integrations.

Locate Dropbox in available integrations.

Sign in to your Dropbox account.

Grant permissions
Allow Slant to access your Dropbox:
- View files and folders
- Create and manage folders
- Upload files

Set root folder

View documents

Upload files

In Dropbox, create a file request.

Point it to the client’s folder.

Share the request link with your client.

- Connect Slant to the shared folder

Troubleshooting
Can’t see files
Check:- Dropbox integration is connected
- You have access to the folder
- Folder is linked to the client
Upload errors
Verify:- File size within Dropbox limits
- Storage space available
- Filename doesn’t contain invalid characters
- Not uploading blocked file types
Sync issues
Try:- Refresh the Documents tab
- Check Dropbox status page
- Verify Dropbox desktop app is syncing (if used)
Permission errors
Ensure:- You have appropriate folder permissions
- OAuth token hasn’t expired
- Admin policies allow the integration
Disconnect Dropbox

Go to integrations
Navigate to Settings → Integrations.

Find Dropbox
Locate Dropbox in connected integrations.

Click Disconnect
Click Disconnect and confirm.
- Disconnect in Slant
- Go to Dropbox Settings → Connected apps
- Remove Slant’s access
Disconnecting removes Slant’s access. Files remain in Dropbox unchanged.

- Cannot access other Dropbox content
- Cannot delete your entire Dropbox
