What custodian data provides
When your custodian data is connected, Slant displays:- Account balances — Current total market value for each account
- Account details — Account name, type, and custodian
- Related parties — Account owner names, relationships, and contact info
- Total AUM — Aggregated assets across all linked accounts for a household
How it works
Data syncs nightly
Slant receives updated portfolio data from your custodian each night via BridgeFT, a data aggregation service.
Supported custodians
Slant supports the following custodians through BridgeFT:- Schwab

Data freshness
Custodian data updates on a nightly schedule:- Update timing — Data refreshes overnight
- As-of date — Each account shows when its data was last updated
- Delay — Data reflects end-of-day values from the previous business day
What you can see
Account information
For each custodian account:| Field | Description |

Related parties
Custodian accounts include information about account owners:- Name — Account holder name
- Relationship — Primary owner, joint owner, trustee, etc.
- Contact info — Email or phone when available
Automatic AUM tracking
When you link custodian accounts to households:- AUM calculates automatically — No manual entry needed
- Updates nightly — Balances refresh with custodian data
- Aggregate totals — Multiple accounts sum to household AUM
Data security
Custodian data flows through secure channels:- Read-only access — Slant can view but not modify custodian data
- No credential storage — Your custodian login is not stored in Slant
- Advisor-code scoped — You only see accounts matching your advisor codes
- Book-scoped access — Team members see accounts based on their book access
