Related records let you track connections between a household and other records in Slant — such as businesses, other households, people, other contacts, or users. The Related records section on the Records tab shows all linked records with their relationship labels. Each related record shows:
  • Record name — the linked record’s name, with an icon indicating its type
  • Relationship label — how the records are related (for example, “is referred by” or “is CPA for”)
Click a related record to navigate to its detail page.

Describe the relationship

Enter a label that describes how the records are related (for example, “is attorney for”). You can also add a reverse label to describe the relationship from the other direction.

Edit a relationship

Hover over a related record card and click the icon to change the relationship label. Press the checkmark to save or the X to cancel. Hover over a related record card and click the icon. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
Removing a related record deletes the relationship between the two records. This cannot be undone.
