View related records
Each related record shows:- Record name — the linked record’s name, with an icon indicating its type
- Relationship label — how the records are related (for example, “is referred by” or “is CPA for”)
Add a related record
Search for the record
Type the name of the record you want to link. You can link to clients, prospects, people, businesses, other contacts, or users.
Describe the relationship
Enter a label that describes how the records are related (for example, “is attorney for”). You can also add a reverse label to describe the relationship from the other direction.
Edit a relationship
Hover over a related record card and click the icon to change the relationship label. Press the checkmark to save or the X to cancel.Remove a related record

You can link clients, prospects, people, businesses, other contacts, and users. Each relationship has a customizable label describing how the records are connected.

They can be. When adding a related record, you can optionally set a reverse label to describe the relationship from the other record’s perspective. Both labels will appear on their respective detail pages.

No. Related records are scoped to the same book as the household.
