Tasks may have a recommended action associated with them to help you quickly complete tasks. This is a suggested next step for the task based on the task’s status and any associated contacts. For example, if the task involves sending an email to a contact, the recommended action will include an AI-generated email draft based on context from the task and contact. You can edit and send the email directly from the recommended action.

Marking tasks as complete

Whenther you’re on the Tasks page or on a contact’s page, you can complete a task by clicking the circle checkbox next to the task. Once a task is completed, you’ll see a success message confirming the completion, the completion timestamp is recorded, the completing user is logged, relevant team members are notified, and task lists are immediately updated across Slant.

Managing completed tasks

Uncompleting tasks

If you need to mark a completed task as incomplete:
  1. Find the task in the completed tasks section.
  2. Unclick the checkmark.
  3. The task will return to the “To do” status, and the completion timestamp will be cleared.

Viewing completed tasks

To view your completed tasks, click Filter, then set the conditions to “Status is Done.” You’ll also be able to view any completed tasks associated with a person on the contact record under the Tasks tab.
