Editing a task

To edit a task, navigate to Tasks and click on the task. This will open a slideover panel with all available editing options. Changes are automatically saved after typing. Title and description
  • Click directly on the task title or description to edit it.
Assigned to
  • Click the assignee field to change who’s responsible for the task. The assignee will be notified of any changes, and the original assignee remains as a collaborator on the task.
You can reassign multiple tasks to a new assignee. To multiselect tasks, hold down the Shift key and click the tasks you want to assign.
Contact record
  • Click the contact field to change the associated record and select from available client and prospect records.
Due date
  • Click the date field to open a calendar picker and select a new date from the calendar. You can clear the date by clicking Clear date.
Collaborators
  • To add or remove collaborators, refer to the user icons in the top-right of the slideover menu. Collaborators are useful for ensuring that a team member is notified as a task is updated.

Adding a comment

When working on a task, you can add comments using the Comment button on the slideover menu. Comments are visible to all collaborators on the task.
Hold down the Command key and click on a task from the Tasks page to add a comment.

Deleting a task

To delete a task, click the trash icon next to the task. You an also use multi-select (hold down the Shift key) to delete multiple tasks at once.

Creating Task Views

You can create custom task views to help you manage your tasks more efficiently. To create a task view, click the + New task view button in the top-right of the Tasks page. Once a new task view is created, use the Filter button to adjust the tasks displayed in that view.
