After you add your DST advisor code in Slant, you need to set up DST FANmail and DST Vision so that Slant can receive your account data daily.
ROI processing timeline: 7–10 business days after submission.
Your DST FANmail credentials must stay active continuously for Slant to receive your DST data. If you update your password or your credentials change, email hannah@slant.app in advance so we can prevent a gap in your data feed.

Activate DST FANmail

Open DST FANmail

Go to DST FANmail and select Enroll in FAN Mail. Accept the terms and conditions.

Complete the 10-step enrollment

Work through the enrollment flow:
  1. Select your role (most commonly Representative).
  2. Select your broker/dealer.
  3. Under Customer Management Software Vendor, choose Proprietary.
  4. Set your password reset questions. Screenshot the answers for your records.
  5. Sign in to DST Vision to pull your fund information and Add to List.
  6. Add any Variable Annuities. Skip if none.
  7. Add any Variable Universal Life companies. Skip if none.
  8. Add any Alternative Investments. Skip if none.
  9. Add any Program Manager companies. Skip if none.
  10. Verify all information and click Submit Enrollment.

Send your credentials to Slant

Once your FANmail account is verified, email your FANmail credentials to hannah@slant.app. We’ll set up the daily download of your data files.

Enroll in DST Vision

DST Vision is the portal where you grant Slant access to your accounts.

Create a DST Vision account

Go to the DST Vision homepage and click New User. Select your service level and broker-dealer, then enter your profile information.

Provide account details

Continue through the prompts. To finalize your account you’ll need:
  • Branch name and number
  • Representative name and number
  • Client account number for each client being requested
Enrollment processing takes about 1–2 business days. For errors or questions, call DST Vision Support at 1-800-435-4112.

Add Slant as an affiliate user

Once your DST Vision account is active, go to Administration → Enroll Affiliate IDs and add Slant as a user. Enter your Security Keyword and click Continue, then review and Submit.Alternatively, you can call DST Support at 1-800-435-4112 to add Slant as a user.

Share your DST Vision credentials with Slant

Once Slant is added as an affiliate user, email your DST Vision credentials to hannah@slant.app so we can complete the integration.
Data should start flowing into Slant within 7–10 business days of credentials being received.
