Interactive Brokers accepts release-of-information (ROI) requests via email. After you save your Interactive Brokers advisor code in Slant, you can send the ROI request on your behalf directly from the custodian settings — no separate email template, no copy-paste.
ROI processing timeline: 5–10 business days after Interactive Brokers receives the request.

Send the ROI request

Open your Interactive Brokers advisor code in Slant

Go to Settings → Custodian, find the Interactive Brokers row, and click it to open the dialog.

Click Send ROI request

In the dialog, click Send ROI request. A form expands inline.

Fill in advisor name and email

Enter:
  • Advisor name — appears as the signature on the request email.
  • Advisor email — used as the reply-to address so Interactive Brokers’ response comes back to you.
  • CC emails — anyone else on your team who should receive the response. Slant pre-fills our internal CCs.
Click Send request.

Watch for Interactive Brokers' reply

Interactive Brokers’ reporting integration team will reply to the email to confirm receipt and process the authorization against the advisor code(s) you saved in Slant.Once the feed is activated, data starts flowing into Slant on the next nightly sync.
In the Slant custodian settings, the Interactive Brokers row now shows a green ROI sent pill so you know the request is in motion.
