After you add your Fidelity advisor code (G Number) in Slant, you need to authorize Fidelity to release your account data. Fidelity handles this through an Outbound Transmission Request in the Integration Xchange portal.
ROI processing timeline: 5–8 business days after submission.

Prerequisites

To submit the request you need two entitlements from your Fidelity admin or the Fidelity Client Service Team:
  • Integration Xchange_OutboundTransmissionsRulesManagement
  • Integration Xchange Admin Outbound Transmission Rules Management
Your firm’s user admin or the Fidelity Client Service Team can add these for you.

Submit the outbound transmission request

Open Outbound Transmission Rules

From Wealthscape, go to Resources → Integration Xchange → My Firm’s Integrations → Outbound Transmission Rules. You’ll see the list of your firm’s current G Number rules.

Add a rule

Click Add Rule.

Fill in the entity details

Complete the following fields:
  • Entity Name: Slant CRM
  • Header Field: click +Add Header, then enter the G Number (or Broker Dealer number 3030#)
  • G Number Field: enter the same G Number (or Broker Dealer number 3030#)
The G Number must be entered twice — once in the Header field and once in the G Number field. Otherwise Fidelity won’t deliver the data.
If you’re using a Broker Dealer number (3030#), you’ll also need to add every Registered Rep Number (3-digit alphanumeric code) as a separate advisor code in Slant. Otherwise the data tied to those reps won’t show up.

Disable masking

Set the masking fields to No so that account identifiers aren’t redacted in the data sent to Slant.

Confirm and submit

Review the rule details, enter your full name, and click Confirm.
If you have multiple G Numbers, repeat these steps for each one.
Data should start flowing into Slant within 5–8 business days.
