The automation editor now includes Automation chat, an assistant that builds the automation with you. Describe what you want and it sets up the trigger, adds and updates actions, sets conditions and branches, and references your tags, sequences, and pipelines by name — you watch the changes appear on the canvas. Everything it does stays in the draft until you click Publish. Automations you start from scratch open with chat ready to go.
Use Test automation in the automation editor to run the latest published version against a single record you choose, so you can confirm the behavior before enabling it. Test runs perform real actions and appear in run history like any other run.
If you belong to more than one book, select All books in the book switcher and open the Book chat tab on Home to ask questions that span every book you belong to. Each record in an answer shows its book, company-level items appear once, and chat asks which book to use when you create something. Reports created here belong to your company, and cohorts can hold records from across books.
A form’s More form actions menu now lets you duplicate a form, open its version history, and copy an install link that lets another advisor add a copy of the form to their own book with their branding. You can also send yourself a test invitation to experience a published form exactly as a client would, without saving a submission.Forms can now be sent automatically too: the Send intake form automation action emails a published form to a household with optional automatic reminders, and the public API and Zapier support sending forms from your other tools.
The reports page is now a full table like clients and prospects — search, filter by record type, definition, last run, or run count, sort columns, and save custom views. Filter reports can also target Past client records.
Selecting All books in the book switcher now shows the full meetings page — tabs, filters, search, and the details panel — with each meeting labeled by its book. The previous limited events view is gone.
Slant now notifies everyone in a book when a linked custodian account leaves your data feed or drops to $0, so transfers out never slip by unnoticed. Currently supported for Schwab feeds. Control the email with the Account departures setting.
If your firm is part of a larger organization and you have access to more than one firm’s Slant account, your firms now appear at the top of the account menu — select one to switch your entire workspace.
