Upload and configure your own document templates

You no longer need a Slant representative to set up document templates. Admins can upload a fillable PDF from SettingsDocument filler, and Slant detects its form fields and names them automatically. A full template editor lets you set field labels and requirements, group related checkboxes, show fields conditionally, map fields to household and person data, and define signer roles — all in-house, with AI suggestions along the way.

Move an opportunity from its card menu

Opportunity cards now have a Move to stage option in the menu. Open the menu in full view and pick any stage to move the opportunity there immediately — a quick alternative to drag-and-drop.

Project automation triggers

Automations can now start from project events. Three new triggers are available: Project created, Milestone changed, and Project completed — each scoped to the project types you choose.

Update tasks and add comments from automations

Two new automation actions are now available when an automation runs on a task: Update task changes a task’s title, description, due date, priority, status, or assignee, and Add comment posts a comment to the task. Fields left blank or set to No change are untouched.

Reconnect expired storage connections

When a connected file-storage provider’s sign-in expires, Slant now flags it clearly. The provider card shows a warning and a Reauthenticate button, and folder pickers prompt you to reconnect before browsing or linking folders. Reconnecting takes one click and a quick sign-in.

Import counts on CSV upload

The CSV import confirmation now shows how many records you’re about to import — including the household count for clients and prospects — so you can catch a mis-mapped column before importing.
