Opportunities are no longer limited to households. You can now add an opportunity to a contact or a business — each detail page has an Opportunities section in its records and an Opportunities widget on its overview, matching how households work. When you create an opportunity, you pick its Related record, which can be a household, contact, or business. Pipelines now have an Applies to setting (Clients, Prospects, Contacts, Businesses) so each pipeline can serve the right audience. The pipeline board also gained a search box to filter cards by name, household, or owner, and links from search and record pages now open the board focused on a specific opportunity.
You can now have the notetaker play an audible announcement that the meeting is being recorded when it joins. Turn it on under Settings → Notetaker on the Company tab with Play the recording announcement when notetaker bots join and record meetings. This helps firms meet recording-consent requirements; the announcement applies to Slant’s online-meeting notetaker.
Incoming picture messages (MMS) now appear inline in the conversation on the Phone tab, so you can see images clients send right alongside their texts. Sending from Slant remains text-only. This works across all connected texting providers.
When adding a manual account, the Tax type list now includes an Other option. Choose it to enter your own Tax type label — such as “Defined benefit plan” — for tax statuses that aren’t in the standard list. The custom label shows on the accounts list and is available as a filter.
The meeting review … menu now includes Create project, so you can turn a meeting’s follow-ups into a project without leaving the recap. When the meeting is linked to a single household, that household is filled in for you, and a View project link takes you straight to the new project.
Transcript availability follows your retention policy
When a recording-retention policy removes a meeting’s generated transcript, the Download transcript option is hidden and the transcript area explains it is unavailable due to your retention settings. Firms can set this policy at the broker-dealer level, in which case the book’s Recording retention controls are locked.
When you select All books from the book switcher, the Projects page aggregates projects across every book you can access — and you can now act on them directly from the project’s detail view. Complete milestones, move between milestones, and complete or delete projects without first switching into the project’s own book.
Clearer sender filter on the email automation trigger
The Email received automation trigger now only requires a sender condition when its Trigger for setting is Emails from unknown senders. If you set it to Emails from existing contacts, you can save the automation without adding a from address, since it’s already scoped to people you know.
