Personal access tokens for the Slant API

You can now create read-only personal access tokens for the Slant API from SettingsAPI tokens. Each token is tied to your user account and inherits your book access. Tokens are shown only once at creation, and you can revoke any token at any time. Write access can be requested per token by messaging support.

Multi-book automations

Automations now belong to your company instead of a single book. From an automation’s SettingsSharing section, admins can either toggle Apply to all books in company to run the automation in every book (including new books added later) or check the Share with specific books list to pick exact books. Automations that reference book-specific resources (tags, sequences, pipelines, email integrations) can’t be company-wide until those references are removed.

Meetings on contacts and businesses

You can now file meetings under other contacts and businesses in addition to households. Both record types have a new Meetings tab and a Start meeting button in the header. Starting a meeting from a contact or business detail page automatically files it under that record and locks the link in the create form.

Identification fields on other contacts

Other contacts now have an Identification section under Details for storing sensitive information — SSN, Passport number, and driver license fields (number, issuing state, issue date, expiration date). Previously these fields were only available on household members.

2FA improvements on web and mobile

Admins now see two extra columns on SettingsUsers and teams: Auth method (Google, Microsoft, or Password) and 2FA? (Yes/No), making it easy to audit how each teammate signs in and whether two-factor authentication is enabled. The Slant mobile app also now supports 2FA (TOTP) during sign-in for both email/password and SSO flows — after entering credentials, you’ll be prompted for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

EUR, AUD, and CAD currency custom fields

Currency custom fields now support US Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR), Australian Dollar (AUD), and Canadian Dollar (CAD). Pick the currency when you choose the Currency format on a Number field.

Prefix and suffix on names

When editing a person’s name, you can now add an optional Prefix (e.g., Dr.) and Suffix (e.g., Jr., Sr., III) alongside first, middle, and last name.

Manual account number reveal

The masked account number on manual accounts now exposes its eye and copy icons on hover instead of always showing them. Click the eye icon to reveal or hide the full number, and the copy icon to copy it to the clipboard. The same controls work on household account cards.

Note labels in card view

Notes in card view now show their labels as colored badge chips in the card footer, on a dedicated row beneath the user name and timestamp. Long lists of labels scroll horizontally instead of collapsing into dots. The label picker is also searchable and scrolls — handy for books with many labels.

Hidden-stage drop confirmation

Dragging an opportunity onto a hidden stage (for example, Archived) now opens a confirmation prompt before the move applies. When you’re dragging from a hidden stage, hidden-stage drop zones are also no longer shown so you can’t accidentally re-archive.

Notetaker — 14-day window and dedupe

The Notetaker toggle is now only enabled for meetings starting in the next 14 days. Meetings further out show a disabled toggle until they enter the window. When multiple users from the same firm are invited to the same calendar event, only one notetaker joins — not one per user or book — so you no longer see duplicate bots or duplicate recordings on shared events.

Deceased household members excluded from mail merge

Mail merge placeholders for the household head, spouse, and leader now skip household members who are marked deceased or have a date of death set, so sequence emails no longer address messages to people who have passed away.

Email touchpoints use delivery date

Email touchpoints are now dated by the email’s actual delivery time instead of when the email record was created in Slant, so Last touchpoint reflects the real conversation date.

Better contact results in the command palette

The command palette now reliably surfaces contacts when searching by person fields (name, email, phone), and the preview pane shows structured household member details — name, role, email, and phone — each with a copy icon.

Folder picker requires a folder

The Select button on storage folder pickers (Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, Egnyte, ShareFile) is now only enabled after you choose a folder, so you can’t accidentally clear a previously linked folder by clicking through with nothing selected.
