Automatic sign-out
Admins can require users to be signed out after a chosen period of inactivity. Set the policy under Settings → Company profile → Automatic sign-out, with options from 15 minutes to 12 hours or Never. When the limit is close, Slant shows a Still there? warning before signing the user out.Note and comment mention notifications
Mentions in notes now generate a notification just like mentions in comments. Clicking a note mention opens the note on its source record so you can jump straight to the thread.RBC and SEI custodian integrations
RBC and SEI custodial accounts can now sync into Slant. Contact support to set up either custodian for your firm.Cross-book related records
Related records can now link to any record in your company, including records that live in another book you can see. The search in the relationship picker spans every book, making it easier to connect households, contacts, and businesses across teams.Cross-book custodian account visibility
The Linked household column on the custodian accounts list now shows when an account is linked in another book. If you can see that book, the cell shows the book’s name; if not, it reads Assigned in another book. You can still link the account in the current book regardless.Restrict user-reference custom fields to specific teammates
User-reference custom fields now support an allow-list of teammates. Open the field, switch Selectable users to Selected users, and pick who should appear in the dropdown. The restriction applies everywhere the field is set, including bulk and inline edits.{{current_date}} placeholder in mail merge
Mail merge templates can now include {{current_date}} to insert today’s date in the book’s timezone — useful for letterheads and dated correspondence.
Email and calendar sync progress badge
While a freshly connected mailbox is backfilling, the integration card shows a progress badge with separate rings for calendar and email plus a+N chip for any additional accounts. Initial syncs can take up to 24 hours depending on the size of your mailbox.
